So you have taken a break from exercising and it has been a while now. Or you are about to take a break because, well, let´s ne honest, the Christmas are coming. It does not matter. What matters is that before you do this, you should know what happens in such situation. So, are you ready to find out? Yes you are!
1. If it only has been a few days, no damage is done. And it actually is good for you because your body uses this time to recover and to grow the muscles.
2. One week after you stop working out some changes can already be spotted. However, if you start working out immediately, you will not even realize that you had a break.
3. After two weeks or so, you will notice that your cardio endurance is slowly disappearing. You will suddenly find it difficult to climb the stairs.
4. After a month, you will not even know that you used to work out in the past. That is how bad it will get.
And after a few months, or a year, no traces of your previous effort will be spotted.
Well, you probably do not want that to happen, do you? So get back to work!
